Just looked over the manual. They're good Infinite baffle subs, but that takes a lot of work, and won't shield a lot of output. They also work in ported, but they have a small motor, so they would need a huge box to get a respectable amount of output out of them.
If output wasn't a concern, i'd say keep em. In your case, i'd save up then scrap both the jbl's and the pioneers.
SSA Dcon 10 would be a good contender @ $115. A step up from that would be the sundown sa10 at $169
dcon or sa in the right box will be louder and sound much better than what you currently have
