I got supercharger envy now.
I don't know if my 188,000 mile D16Z6 could hold even 6psi though. Already hand grenaded a G10 Suzuki when I let a friend "adjust" (eliminate it operationally speaking) the wastegate.

Very Good...I'm diggin' the Vortech SC. I suspect you traded a friend your si wheels for his steelies...why? I have a friend with '98 gsr blades but he won't trade me for my stock wheels.

Well, i have a quaffe and z10 traction bars....but still have problems with spinnin.
I can raise the rpm's to about 3500 and slip the clutch in 1st for takeoff...but once i hit about 6000 rpm the tires break loose on me. Then comes 2nd....i shift into 2nd, and the tires never really grab. then the spin a little goin into 3rd. then im good.
I can avoid most of this but i can never really floor the car in 1st or 2nd to do so. The enkeis have kuhmo 712's on them with lots of tread, but i think they just arent sticky enough for my needs.
As soon as winter is over i plan to get some good tires and hopefully that will get rid of my problems.
what other mods do you have on your car besides the supercharger cause they have dyno specs on the website a 99 si with cat back exhaust and the intercooled sc push 277 hp so you can kinda guess what kind of horsepower you have
yeah, ive seen that car....it is kinda weak IMO....only ran a 14.4 or somethin like that.

oh, it is currently runnin extremely rich....i have got some 440 injectors and am in the process of doin the vafc hack. Im hopin for about 280 wheel hp (yes, i know the vortech is a dyno queen)
and 180ish torque.
Im also hopin for mid to low 13's in the quarter.
gotta get the traction issues under control first

aw man sweet ride but let me know when you fix your traction problems ive had similar problems in my si except i got a jackson.ive actually only raced my car once since i got the super about 7 months ago and well i feel i lost because when i kicked it into 2nd i lost traction and thats where the z28 got away
