that looks like the same kit i found to buy....

how did you have to modify it? my concerns are that i havent yet seen them mounted on a mountain bike with a straight tube diamond frame... ive only found pics of them on beach cruisers. the mounting locations seem to much of an angle to fit a mountain bike.

and how did you get past the cables that run under the frame? thats another concern of mine....

The mounts need to be filed to fit better. The cables can be routed over the lower mount no problem.

Just about everything needs to be modified and/or fine tuned and as you run it you'll find more things to change. I would suggest replacing every piece of hardware the kit comes with higher quality (not Chinese) bolts and whatnot. The clutch cable will take the longest to get into adjustment but once you're there it's all good. I probably spent the first 200 miles 5 miles at a time then fixing/modifying something.

Get the 60cc engine if you can, the 49cc is weaksauce.

ok so i took all the body off and there is no spark to the plug. i have found the module where the plug wires go to and there is a black wiring just hanging there with a female clip... any ideas? thanks

should go to the generator on the engine. Check the engine for hanging wires.

so just any wire hanging around the engine? i ddidnt see any but ill look again thanks

there has to be some way of getting power from the generator to the coil.

its off my ignition coil and there are 3 wires one of which doesnt have a mate

looks like it should be a ground since it doesn't tie into the harness with the other two wires. It's definitely an ignition coil and not a CDI unit, but coils don't usually have three wires. It could possibly go to a kill switch but if you're not seeing a connector it's hard to trace. I would try grounding it.

ya no kidding there is another harness i have no idea what its for ill put a pic up of that but i dont know if actually affects the start up

i know the small harness is for the horn but i have no idea what the other one is for. thanks again man for all the help

i got it up and running it just pulses and stuff when i give it gas and then it eventually sputters out
