Sorry but this is terrible advice. Suspension is something you really shouldn't cheap out on. For safety reasons and also for money. You'll spend more money replaceing parts down the road than if you spent the extra money on a good quality suspension setup. I've seen it a million times over..

This is just ONE example of why you should NOT buy stupid cheap eBay suspension parts.

You haven't heard of them before, just like no one else has, because they are GENERIC. It even says so in the website "Brand: Generic". lol

There's no guarantee that these will even fit, let alone last, or provide a decent ride on any shock...

Its not like they are the $30 set of springs on amazon... H*ll you could get some tein lowering springs for about 40 bucks more than the set he was looking at.

I want my fender rite above my tires. Maybe a inch. I will be using stock shocks. I'm use to riding rough. I drove my Miata for years with it lowered also. Ride was like a wagon but it looked good. My main concern is the look. Ride I can deal with

The only reason I told him to get spring sleeves is cause thats what I'm riding on... I bought the car like that and they seem to have held up just fine to all the driving I do (which is a lot). If I had a choice Id be getting tein coilovers

In all honesty, OP, spend the extra money. It will be worth it. If you get springs, get a set of struts to go with it; OEM is not meant to handle the difference and you will end up blowing the struts.

If you get coilovers, be careful. eBay is hit or miss. I had eBay coils and lasted three years before the rear ones blew. Last month I spent $750 on Tein Basis full coils, and I'm 110% happy with the decision. Much better ride than eBay coils too, much smoother.
