someone help me... i ran something over tonight.. .and i cant figure out what it is.

it left me with a flat tire.

i havent got around to fixing it yet.... seeing as it just happened... but maybe you guys can shed some light on what it might be.

its white... HARD.. and penetrated the tread of the tire... enough to make it go flat. im thinking its a piece of bone....

but i mean... it has to be atleast 3/4" long to go all the way down on a brand new tire. and it wasnt even in the grooves on the tread... it is directly in the tread part.

this has me boggled as i just put these tires on on friday. they were brand new. now one has a f**king hole in it.

any suggestions on what would be white... and hard enough to penetrate a tire? its no rock.... rocks just dont do this. ill get a pic tommorow... im gonna see if it can be fixed... if not... im out 200 bux. thats what these tires cost new a piece! .... it f**king sux ass!

Most likely a raccoon/skunk/squirrel/rabbit bone.

Oh yes. Happened to my driving instructor on his corolla. He said that the thigh bone of a fresh roadkill squirrel took out one of his tires.

As long as the penetration hole is not larger than 1/4" and the object is removable, you MIGHT be able to repair it.
