drive throughs are easy... its not that hard to lean over 12 inches. Its like being a rockstar driving around. I dont think I stole anyones idea, I was not the first one to do a rhd, but I was one of the first to do the work himself. I miss my car already.. I think I will do the RHD on my WRX next. =) Lemme know if you need a hand with her Koda, I know every inch of that beast.

I was shooting for low 13 high 12s when I built it. It still has not been tuned, running stock b18 maps with larger injectors and a 12:1 fmu. A friend of mine who has a full on drag monty carlo, thinks its faster then his car, and he posts 12's all day long. But I never took it to the track, was always too busy doing other stuff. Too bad the wrx trannys are not up to the task, I would love to run it head to head with the civic. Maybe after the STI tranny swap....

Yeah, the tranny is split the long way, so if you make any kind of power, it flexes really bad, 1st gear grenades pretty quick with a few 5g clutch drops. and you thought honda trannies were expensive.... the tranny swap is going to set me back about 6g.

yeah, thats for a US setup. If i went with the JDM V8 STI setup, I could easily drop 10k just on the drive line. the tranny's go for about 7-8k alone, then you need the mounts, all 5 drive shafts, knuckle assemblies, rear diff, DCCD controller and wiring, clutch, flywheel, yadda yadda...... it almost seems better just to trade in the wrx and go with an sti.. but since I mainly use her for work/weekend driving, It makes me drive a little more sane.. less chance to go to jail hehe..

oh come on man! If you had a WRX you could get everyone looking at you. I know I love seeing those things around. Not many out there up here in snobbsdale. Plus, you'll always know that you have that nice 300hp for takin care of business! LOL! BTW, I didn't know they had made a V8 STi in Japan!?! :shock:

ah, that would explain the V8, LMFAO! Hey Meepers, I saw a nice ass WRX runnin at SCO and that thing sounded BURLY!!! I don't know what exhaust he had on that thing or what upgrades but he was running 14's!! It was silver or beige with a widebody kit. Fast as hell!! :shock:

Yeah, I love my 30-100mph time.... I just dont like abusing 1-2 gears.. If you beat the piss outta the tranny and clutch, it will run 13's... but again, AWD Drag launches are hard on the drive line. I also love the burble of the flat4 with the unequal length headers. The Greddy I have sounds ssoooo nice..
