spoon valve covers are yellow? ;)
and cost about 4x as much and are 100x's uglier imo

yellow wouldnt flow imo and the money spent on a spoon cover could be more wisely spent

i agree.. i love most spoon s**t.. but that valve cover (the spoon one) is relaly f**king ugly..

i love everything about the engine bay.. even the shiny valve cover.. why is the coolant overflow just chilling against the header

take out basically every goody your car has and all equipment in the engine bay related to it.
ps, ac, reservoirs, cruise control etc etc etc.... then you only have like 4 wire looms to hide.
turn the battery wires around, some people drill holes and rerun the wires under the unibody.
re-run the headlight wires... and there's really not many more you have to move

what reservoirs do you need?
the brake and clutch fluid reservoirs are still there.... but looks like he hasnt put the coolant overflow reservoir back yet because he's not done with the install, but things like the windshield washer fluid and all the necissary tubes and wiring would be yanked out.
if you want your bay to look like that you end up with NO ammenities (sp?)

VERY true, the car i did it on we used some bondo and fiberglass to fill in the holes then we sprayed the engine bay flat black

and i dont know if you have cruise control, but that's another thing you really wanna remove if you want the bare bones engine bay look.

everyone and their mother rocks a ITR (red) valve cover. I want a spoon one some im gonna get one. Spoon strut bars will be all around with spoon CF plug cover and plug wires. Some people build cars for the f**k of it, i built this one to make a statement. Im sure when i post pics iwth the new valve cover people will like it. We'll see.

to me an expensive valve cover makes a statement that you're more concerned with brand names than modding wisely.... and to me that's not a very good statement

if i were you i'd spend that money on something like... rear disc brakes
now that would make a positive statement ;)
