first, what is that crome piece on the back bumper??
you should get that FMIC painted or get some black mesh to put in front of it so it doesn;t stand out so bad.
definately need to do something with that grill.

The muffler is buddy club pro spec, sounds really really really good :P loud deep tone anywhere in the rpm...

the grill - im going to mesh it, but I just havent bought mesh yet to do that.

the thing on the back bumper is the SRR exhaust plate, prevents melting of the bumper if it gets too hot back there.

and whats wrong with a turbo y7? its goin to be changing soon too, have a z6 vtec head for it in my basement just waiting for install

What kinda set-up are you running at the track? Do you have slicks, if so... launch around 5 grand or more depending on the size of slicks. If you can put on some 20x8 and heat them up alil, Launching at 5 grand should bring your sixty foots into the 1.9-1.7 range if you got everything else in line. My buddy was running the same kinda set-up (hatch,d16,slicks,gutted somewhat, etc) and was hitting 13.8's consistanly on 10lbs. We found that 4500 - 5500 rpms gave him the best launch... 3500- 4000 was just to laggy... and anything about 5500 was spinning the hell out of the slicks, but if you got anyhing close to that, that may give you some idea. :thumbs up and good luck

^^^ plate doesnt get too hot, the muffler tip actually sticks out further then I originally thought it would when I got the plate.

^ ^but I like the cluster pod too :P

^ thanks for the tips man, Im running toyo t1s at the track (my daily tires) I wont buy slicks until im more experienced at the track. Ive been twice and im in the mid-high 14's on 2.4-2.6 60ft, but I know I can go lower with the launch. My tuner said he will set the launch control when i find the sweet spot, but I havent found it yet, every start is different for me so far... my wierdest run so far, was on a no-rev start 3.1sec 60ft finished with a 16.0 at 97.69mph :P

Not bad running mid 14's with little experience at the tracks.

You don't really need that chrome plate on the back bumper, your exhaust will take most of the heat & bumpers don't melt unless you have got on a flamer kit. I think you should you maybe take it off?

Strange first time I've heard of it, could be the way he mounted his exhaust, I just don't feel the exhaust plate...

i agree its not very appealing to have this crome swuare on the back bumper, maybe if it was painted to match i wouldn;t mind it. but yeah its nasty lookin.

here the thread, it isn;t that old
