Your insurance actually checks to make sure you have airbags?

They don't physically come out and check, but when I got my 92 Si, I called and got a quote thinking it was a 95.... When I went to take delivery of the 92, my down payment and monthly premium was higher than I was quoted. I asked why, and she said "less safety features"

but as long as the vin says you have the airbags then you can do whatever you want to with them take them out whatever.

Sure, till something happens, then when I try to make a claim, they're all "We thought you had dual airbags, yada yada"

I dunno, I may just do it anyway, still undecided.
