Before I installed my Ingalls Stiffy I had went out to my local drag strip and was launching about 4000 rpms with major wheel hop in my 00 ex coupe. This morning I installed in about 15 to 20 minutes set it up at 10mm the stiffest point in which you can, took it out on some back roads, it shifts alot smoother and I gave it a few launches and for the power I have I launched at 4000rpms the first go around the clutch hooked up and spun the tires a bit but no wheel hop. My last launch I rev'd about 5200 rpms dumped clutch, no wheel hop at all but spun the tires pretty good. its recommend to do it OFF the car I believe although you can adjust it on the car.Slammed_am said:Do you ahve to adjust the dampening of it while its off the car or can that be done while its installed?
i never experienced anything like a stutter..sk8shorty017 said:I think one of the most noticeable benefits of this part is the traction. When in 1st gear, as I start to roll - if im taking off kinda slow, I can hear my exhaust studder, meaning that the wheels are getting mad jdm traction, cause as the wheels grip, the engine kinda stutters. This is at all low start, with not alot of force, so IMO theres almost too much traction with a lack of power. I do have the ETD at the stiffest setting and ESMM inserts, but I can only imagine when I launch at high RPMs..
