Alright, as I sit here in my in laws condo on the beach i figure what a better time to say hello.

Tampa Florida, 2000 EK bone stock just picked up from my wife's college roommate. One owner (other than me) clean and clear title, the only real issue is that it's an auto. I'll post pics once I get home tomorrow. Looking to do some minor mods mostly cosmetic because of the transmission.

Future looks are front and rear lip, drop and rims. Redo the tint when the original owner finds her paperwork for the lifetime guarantee on it and I get it redone for free.

Front bumper and trunk need paint, actually the whole thing needs paint but I'm unemployed and back in college at 31 years so I have no money for that shizz with a Z.

I guess that's all I have, I'll post pics soon!

I agree, since I broke my leg driving a stick is about out of the question for me. I'd love an engine swap, but I think keeping it auto, because of my leg (and that I'm lazy)

Alright, found the cord to the wife's camera this morning. Nothing special obviously.

Plans for right now:

Replacing the head lamps

I'm not 100% on installing the fog lamps yet. I would like to know where are you guys finding an 11mm drill bit, and 40mm hole saw? I can only find standard.

I would like to get a different dash kit for my head unit, does anyone know where you can get one that mounts on the bottom? I'm not happy with my screen blocking my AC vents. and my money situation is VERY tight so picking up a double din head unit is almost out of the question.

I plan on dropping the car but I'd like to see my options. This car will never be driven on a track and I have no reason for this car other than my daily driver. Should I spend the money on coil overs or a set of drop springs and struts? I was looking at the Megan drop springs.

More than likely a set of Rota's, but with my budget I may end up with a decent used set of OEM's??

Everything I'm going to do to the car is purely cosmetic, front rear lip paint along with the side skirts to match the white, probably going to get an ebay front grill. not much, just play with the stance and give it a little cosmetic touch.

Having the tint redone and an alarm installed within the next 2 weeks.

Yean man, it's a one owner female college graduate, carfax is clean, nothing but routine maintenance on it.

Only issue is 11 years worth of little dings, dents and paint scrubs. Also some pretty significant love bug damage on the front end.

I'd like to get the whole car repainted, but I may just get the front bumper and trunk lid (once I remove the emblems)

Just installed new Head Lamps, it's amazing how the black completely changes the look of the car.

very nice, is it possible that install kit can be turned upside down placing the deck on the bottom
I tried when I first installed it and it didn't look like it would go.

I'm going to be tearing into again in the next few days while I finish my amp wiring and I'm gonna look again though

Damn, that is one clean car! Can't wait to see what you're gonna do to it!
Not much, I haven't had a job in 15 months, My unemployment is cut off, and my GI Bill is only coming in when I'm taking classes and I'm taking the summer off.

I just got a grill, so I'd just like to get that, front bumper and rear deck lid painted.

Just got the tint redone (no more purple bubbles)

Finished my stereo install, but I hate my head unit in this car and I have no money for another.

probably just a small drop and rims sometime in the future

Billy.

not sure if anybody answered your question about the lower DIN unit because i didnt read all the comments. but yes you can relocate your headunit to the lower part of the center console; you need a 96-98 civic cup holder console

personally though, i would continue trying to sell your avhp5000dvd to get a double din unit. it cleans up the look of the dash a lot more. Then, if you still get a 96-98 cup holder console you can use it for other electronics. I used mine to mount the bass boost controller and digi voltometer for my amplifiers.

I looked at using the bottom cup holder. I did move the unit to the bottom of the dash by flipping the dash kit.

I loved this radio in my jeep
