Front mounts are prone to abuse. If you paint it black its going to eventualy look like s**t from aluminum showing through from rock chips and debris. In my opinion it would look better if you left it alone.

Yeah but not all people are into looks tho. Looks don't make your car go fast but I hear what you're saying. I've seen quite a few peeps with black painted intercoolers and it really doesn't look all that bad even after normal ware and tare.
