i got the power strip from radioshack. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103229
you could use a dremel and run a line down the dividers and solder the 8 metal sections together. i got a friend that has the blue leds in his acura tl. they look pretty sweet. i dont like having the same thing as everyone else. thats why i put my lights in, its a little different from what people who put lights in normaly do. my own little twist.

so you said you put them in the vents?? so is it kinda like a glow coming from inside them? i'm thinking you drilled into the vent on a side that is obscured from your line of sight.

where did you place your all at?

i have 9" strips at the tops of the front and back windows, if you do yours that way make sure to put some black elec. tape on the back side between the peices of tape. on the bottom of the dash, just the bottom edge of the glovebox, and at the bottom edge of the drivers side of the dash. and inside the vents, i took them apart and put them somewhere that would look good, the center had a flange. and the sides just went on the top right behind the blade things on the vents where they wouldnt be in the way. i still need to put some under the seats in the back, and on the bottom edge of the door and tie them into the cuertesy lights so they come on when i open the door.

hmm i'm using individual LEDs in the cupholders up front and in the back seats (i have a coupe). why did you do the windows?? thats kinda goofy sounding. get some pics lol
i'm gonna end up getting legit LEDGLOW interior kit for the footwells and under the seats but otherwise those vents arent that bad of an idea.

and can you take pics of the vents cause i'm thinking it's brutally bright right out in front like that....i'm thinking i'll use a single LED and install it way in the back so its a subtle but still noticable light.

i mounted my lights in the vents so that i cannot see them from where im sitting. just the glow. i did the lights in the windows because they shine down on top of the dashboard and rear deck. ill get some more picks tonight. my car is off campus so i have to take the bus to the other parking lot. ill take some more and post them tonight. but heres one for now.

hahahah the vents look very legit. i like it. i think i'll plan it for mine. and maybe the windows but i'm not sure on that. with more pics i'll be more ready to do it.

i'm sorry you can't park on campus. i gotta go home to fix my car lol. cause my clutch is blown out.

i just fixed my clutch a couple of weeks ago, i had my car in the shop for 2 months while i worked on it and waited for parts. rode my motorcycle around for most of the summer, only spent about $100 on gas for a whole 4 months of summer and daily driving. indiglo gauge faces off of ebay.

i forgot to cover the back side of my lights on the window so theyre visible from the outside. that will get changed when i do the 6" visor strip.

meh, that looks kinda ricey imo. and i have eurolite guages in my car but for some reason they wont light up. i tried hooking them to the dash dimmer but i got nothing. hmm.....i wonder what it could be. i'll have to check it out this weekend.

and i managed to snag another job at Dunhams so that more money to throw at the clutch and flywheel. ACT ftw. lol

i'm going to do it myself but what kit did you drop into yours?

i got a zoom clutch kit from summit racing.i tied my gauges into the running light fuse. i need to cover up the backside of my leds on the windows so theyre not visible from the outside. just havent gotten around to doing it yet.

hahaha i see. why not just fabricate like a custom mount for them so they don't have just electrical tape on them? and what do you think of ACT? heavy duty 6-spring clutch kit for a d-series. lol

what fuse is for the running lights? and how exactly did you tie them to the fuse?

I'm not going to lie, I really like that you used a power terminal strip for all your lights. I never thought about doing that, it would have probably made my life so much easier.

yeah total props on that. i'd think you could find a better way then solder but hey what do i know. lol

soldering has the best connection. the lights just stick to the window, elect. tape is the easiest, cheapest, and would work perfectly, why do all that work when you can just put tape on it. act sounds like a good product, ive never had any experience with it though. i got mine cause it was only $120 and was from summit. fuse #19 is the one for running lights, i just stripped my wire back about an inch and wrapped some of it around the terminal and stuck the fuse back in. i think theres s**t you can buy that clips over one of the terminal, or plugs in, but im cheap and all my stuff works fine. i havent had any problems... yet. lol.

i use the led strips, not tubes, so they just stick to the surface.

looks good so far as the vents go....but i still think theres gotta be a better way for the upper LEDs.....so its not shining right into your eyes. and it doesnt look rice from the outside.

plus i think red may be illegal like that in my area.

none of them actually shine in your eyes, i will try the tape the elect. tape on them when i go home this weekend and post more pics. anything other than white or amber above the grille is illegal in OH. thats why i just drive with mine off, everywhere but toledo, they dont give a s**t. lol.
