Interior Neons

This is how I did mine. I've got an '00 civic Si with and the center console around the ebrake had what I thought would be a perfect spot for four switches. So I ran a power wire from my fuse box to a master switch, then wired each neon to the switch I wanted. Keeping in mind that you have to run power from the master swtich to each other swtich along with with a ground if the swtich is illuminated like mine. Its a rats nest when your done but zip ties will fix that if you do it properly. I have my switches as, exterior neons, strobes and then interior neons. Check my website in my sig for some pics of the neons but I dont have any of the swtich panel but maybe I will remember to do that one day.

we all have some rice on our cars.
werd to that...rice happens....like say 2 fifteens in the back of an integra...sure does make my car slower but i know i don't have the money right now to throw my teggy into the 11s so i go with the fact i like alot of bass....when i have the money for bigger engine stuff i'll worry about it, but for now, i can't handle not having something back there to let everyone else know...as for the neons...
wire a master input coming from your headlight switch in your console...i did it to my parking lights so they come on before the headlights, also wire in a switch, i leave my neons off all the time, it's just nice to know i can flip a switch and see that quarter i dropped on the passenger floorboard ;) but yeah, wire a master input to wire all other neons to, it cleans everything up, not to mention you don't want to have your cig lighter in use at all times, looks like s**t 2....

Take them out of the box, cut the wires, toss in the garbage can. I think that sums it up.
:rice:
be quiet and jerk to your sig... let people do what they want...
or else what is the point of customizing? so we can all have the same boring civic?

here's how i did mine...i think you'll find it's alot easier than most ways...

Go to autozone...i think they are the only store that carries these...they have this fuse splitter that you basically remove any fuse from the inside fuse panel under 10amps and replace it with this splitter. It has another 10amp section, along with a positive lead coming from this piece.

Run your positive wire (the red one) into this lead that goes into the fuse, and run the ground (black wire) into any nut or bolt that is touching the metal frame of the car. I found some screw under the driver side that I attached mine to.

From the red wire coming from the lead from the fuse, run it to a switch (which you can mount either on the dash, center console, or anywhere else you want). Then from the switch run the red line to the lights.

It took me about 7 hrs to do all this, but i was in my carport doin this, and doin it at night, so I couldn't see crap.

I am at work rite now, so I can't take pics...but let me know if you need help...it's fairly easy, it just takes the right pieces and time to do it.
