iPhone 6 and factory radio incompatible

My '09 civic has the factory radio without the navigation package. The aux cord use to work with the old iPhone so that iTunes could be controlled through the radio. The new iPhone6 does not. Does anybody know how to remedy this situation?

I would also like to add blue-tooth for hands free calling. Is there any way to do this that doesn't require dismantling the dash and replacing the factory radio?

We are running into that at work more and more. If the high end luxury brands have no hope, there isn't much for the cheap commuter ones. Most of our customers are going the aftermarket route for older cars that aren't supporting the newer phone interfaces. You can get a very good aftermarket unit that has nav and Bluetooth for under $1000 and if you decide to cut out some features that you can live without (maybe nav perhaps), you can get a unit for around half that.

That is assuming you want a double din. If you are just going single din, there are tons of units out there that have Bluetooth for very cheap.
