The intake is not on the drivers side bank like the 2JZ GTTE or the 2JZ GE. Their stock motor is nothing more than the inline six the supra n/a carried. Its got a center mount intake, like they have on the 4.0 V8. The intake tubing comes in from the passenger side of the car, completly wrong end for the 2JZ intake.MySiIzFaster said:

Basically, its the factory IS300 motor with the shroud removed. Theres not I6 in there bro.

Ok so to correct myself.....The IS300 in the vid is an I6 turbocharged (or 2). The red IS430 prototype (that will NOT be prodcued) usees the same 4.3L motor the GS430 uses (340HP). hope THAT clears everything up.

i wasn't being sarcastic at all, i was asking if it was a twin turbo ( TT ) v8 or not. cuz a stock is300 has the i6 right? so they swapped in a v8 and twin turbo'd it? i wasn't sure cuz there was like 30 different motors talked about on the previous pages. and if it is a TTv8, then it sure didn't pull very well against all those n/a v8's, like the mustang GT, it pulled well on the vette though, but some of those camaros werent losing by THAT much.MySiIzFaster said:

oh ok cool. so its just the i6 turbo'd which is even cooler. see if it was a twin turbo v8 it wouldn't be as cool...but a turbo i6 is f**king tight against those cars....more of a challenge. i think its only 1 turbo too....which is cool

I've never heard of a 10 second mustang gt running 3psi, i've heard of a 13 second mustang runnin 8 from a vortech, and that was a 1996 Cobra with very slight traction issues. The stock 03 cobra runs 13 flat and its more than 3 psi.Monstre said:
