i work for www.dtcdesigns.com. my shop owner was on the cover of the august/september (not sure) issue of PERFORMANCE AUTO AND SOUND (www.pasmag.com). Hes got an 04 A4 with many, many mods done to it. he just put the time and effort to go to all the shows possible for the first year the car was built, and got in contact with companies for sponsorships and such.

Knowing the rarity of the bumblebee emblem... and the fact that most peopel don't know about it and it's not entirely played out (and having rice sold under brand names of "Type R" and such), I'd say it'd be opkay to put the bee emblem on. And I rarely like to mix badging on cars.

I remember that.And as far as the emblem goes, I still have mixed emotions for the simple reason of how I HATE when people try to claim they drive something that it isn't. But on the flip side, like Amelia said, this badge isn't played out, isnt representing a "Jordan" in this case, it's representing a bumble bee ( it's really a Hornet but still...

im not one to call people names, im just calling it like it is. the jordan civic bumble bee emblem is to the jordan civic, as the type r emblem is to the type r, as the si emblem is to the si, and as the viper emblem is to the dodge viper. they are symbols of the car to which they reside.
its hippocritical to say someone cant sport type r emblems on a white civic dx hatch because thats not what it is and more people have heard of the type r. While at the same time saying someone can sport a jordan civic decal on a yellow civic dx hatch, even though thats not what it is, but its okay because less people have heard of it. your argument is saying, well hes not calling it a jordan civic, he just likes the way it looks. what if you were to come across someone that had the viper emblem on their neon because they liked the way the snake looks. or a cobra emblem on a focus for the same reason. would you still say the car has an identity crisis? i know i would.
if he really wants to use the jordan civic decal then fine, its his car. i admire his car, the way hes going with it, and the passion he has for it.
