instead of just cutting the part of the valve cover that shields the gears, they cut it in the shape of a crescent moon

the pic is of the "cresent cut" in the valve cover.... looks best to most people, and allows adjustment of the cam gear. in case you didnt understand, and if you did... then forget i just said all that.

Yeah, I'm new to this whole "moon cut" / "crescent cut" deal....So, I'm guessing those are the same thing?

What can I say? I've ended up going a lot deeper into this project then i previously planned. Dropping THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS on your car in the matter of a few months can be pretty hard when you're trying to still keep money in the bank and pay your bills

lol I know the feeling, My simple clutch swap turned out into a 2month turbo project also. Just get some good tires, torque steer is nuts
