Oh, and add to the list, a new battery. If anyone can help, that'd be great. But, my engine doesn't like short trips (i.e. to where it doesn't operate enough to get up to operating temp) and more recently, i'll get back into my car and go to start it...and battery is dead, not enough juice to turn the starter over. But, car will start right up when jumped.

Thoughts?

Starter problem Petey. I had the same issue w/my D16. Sometimes it'll start, sometimes it wont. It makes you think its the battery, or even the alternator. But its the starter.

knock on the starter with a metal pipe, then it should start. lol
