Just came back from a Dyno day at a club meet in Sydney.

I got to do 2 runs ... the first run I got 72 kw (96.6 HP) at the wheels, and on the second run I got 73.6 kw (98.7 HP) at the wheels.

I must admit ... the conditions were pretty average (above 50% humidity and the temp was around 27 degrees C (80.6 F)

What do you all think? Is this good / bad / average?

Bear in mind ... my car is stock ....

Anyway ... wanted to know what you all thought =)

He meant get a drop by lower your car and you should have 138 or 148 one of those two not sure but thats what you should have had to the wheels.

again ... keep in mind that this is at the rubber not at the flywheel ...

but yeah I thought it was readin pretty low ...

I mean ... the factory rates my car at 158 hp at the flywheel.... what's that at the rubber do u reckon ...??

Here the 99-00' Si is rated at 160Hp at the flywheel, you usually loose about 15% through the drivetrain so you should be putting to the ground around 138+HP

I dont know man but i just looked at specs for 99 si's and they have dyno proof of 138 to the wheels so something is way off in your car or the place where you got it done.

what would I ask my mechanic to check ...

I mean ... this may sound silly but is there a way to actually troubleshoot this problem :what:

I reckon it was the dyno place ... we had tons of DC2Rs pull mid 90's .. the highest was 99.

DC5Rs were pulling low 100s ... some modified ones were getting 110s ...

ALL those cars cant be full of :bs: ... I reckon it was the dyno ... what do u think?
