Just got a new puppy!! (56k not happening....huge pics)

Just thought i would share with everyone my new puppy, he is around 2 and a half month old border collie, springer spaniel mix. He was a rescue, dont know much about his past, only that he was the only one left from the litter when i found him.

Wow dude, beautiful puppy. I grew up with a border collie, from when I was 5 to 19, they are the best dogs ever. Enjoy him and cherish him, rescue dogs are normally very grateful dogs. Have you name him yet?

Edit: I found a picture of mine, he is probably around 12 in this picture.

i grew up with a springer from when i was born till about '99 then got another springer from '00 till '09 when we had to put him down and the house was sooo empty i had to buy another one, my dad isnt too happy yet but he will come around, i need to get more pics to show how tiny he is

we got a chocolate lab when i was in the first grade (95) until last summer (09) he was a great dog. there where a few different times some theft sprees where going on in our area and they got both of our neighbors, but not us, and dad remembered the dog barking in the middle of the night. he wieghed a bit over 150.

and the new one. got her last summer. not quite as intimidating, but very aggressive. damn ankle biter.

being a rescue, this is all really new to him, we found out he was abandoned on the side of a highway here in CT only a few weeks old, he was tied up at the foster home so he is getting used to this but he is a huge cuddle dog, if you just make a nest with your legs, indian style he will just walk over and pop himself in there

Thanks guys for all the pictures of everyone else's dogs also, love to see that border collie from vjf, sorry for your loss lotz, but the new one is adorable also

Jay, finacee is very scary , damn cute too...is she one of the ones that thinks she is bigger than she really is and very vocal, i think thats adorable

^^^oh yes cdubs she thinks she can take any dog she see's, sometimes it's hard for me to take her out for a walk cuz she would bark everytime she see's another dog and very loud too i'm thinking of buying a shock collar for her so she can calm the f**k down when were out

^^^so damn true and the weird part about my dog is she only listen to her mommy (fiancee) she would ignore the hell out of me when me and the fiancee are in the same room together

the dashcund is my sisters dog but doesnt even listen to that lazy b***h. but dad is her favorite.

Cool dog Dubs!!!.. Border Collies are awesome dogs....They will instinctvely herd and care for anything...Here is my 14 year old looking after a puppy who was not even hers..

BTW, thank you for your help rescuing the dog. I belong to PETA and help at a couple of local shelters and I wish there were more people like you. My current basset hound is a rescue, too.

deezy they are soo cute, my little guy loves tryin to run right now, the herding will come soon i can imagine, they are sooo smart, figured out stairs in a day and almost fully knows his name

and your welcome, most of my friends have rescue dogs also, and the two bassests next door are rescues. my cousin has 2 rescues right now also not sure what they are but they are huge muts but so loveable and adorable
