Ladies, I need your opinion...

Yea, our son just turned 2 last weekend, so I know all about making sacrifices lol My wife made a similar deal with me before our son was born, and once I admitted to myself that the deadline was unrealistic and I'd never get it done in time, I ended up selling everything. I'm pretty sure she made the deal in hopes that I'd "do the right thing, and learn from my mistakes" I already mentioned a new washer, and we liked at new phones yesterday, so the boost is gonna have to wait, for now. I could still do it, because a friend if mine recently got married, and us wanting to sell his "old setup" to get himself and his wife into a house (they live with his mother :eek: lol) I'm gonna go look at what he's got, and I might "fall in love" but, probably not. He has a "complete" boosted Z6, charge pipes, intercooler, chipped and tuned p28 etc. I say "complete" because he's keeping the bov and wastegate for his vitara build. Other than that, it's all there... He's asking $1200 so I'm seriously considering it, we'd still be able to get new phones, a new washer (the one we have now works, but it's old, and a piece of crap...) And I'd still be able to stash a little, just in case. I dunno, I'm just "thinking out loud" at this point. I SUCK at saving money, so we'll see how it goes lol

@puma, being a teacher, I can see why you'd say that lol
But, it's completely different when they're yours, most of it comes naturally, but there are still times when I'm all "aw s**t, how the eff am I supposed to handle this?" I don't really know how to explain it, some people just aren't "supposed" to have kids, it's not in their nature lol I see/hear parents at walmart, and I just wanna slap the taste out of their mouths. It's like Katt Williams says "Stop yelling at him! Your baby is SUPPOSED to want skittles, you ignorant b***h!" That and "White people, stop putin leashes on your babies, that ain't nothin but entertainment for us niggas" have to be 2 of the things he's said that made me laugh the hardest

All I'm sayin is, if it's meant to be, it's meant to be. You can prevent it from happening, but when the timing is right, if ever, you'll know. You'll just "feel it" just don't jump into it too fast, nobody wants a parent who "regrets" having their kid(s) THAT s**t makes me sick.

Yea, well I've never felt the need. I prefer my furry kids, and it may just stay that way. I'm on the 5 year plan. In 5 years I'll see how I feel about real kids, which puts me at the age of 34. If I still prefer furry kids, I won't have kids. I'm pretty sure I'm one of those people that just isn't meant to have a family.

See, that's what I like about you, you "have a good head on your shoulders" as my dad used to say. My sister has a "fur-baby" and, she watches my son sometimes, which, even though she DOES want a child of her own, is good enough for her. Good thing too, being a lesbian makes it next to impossible to have one of her own lol there's always adoption, but that's not the same...
