have some pics for later, but didn't get too much done. I welded the window regulator to the door so i can roll it up/down without it f**kin up. tried getting the window back on track, but when you roll it up, 1 it doesn't want to stay on track, and 2 the back end seems to go up faster then the front and then pops off near the top

sorry, not selling anymore . after working on it, decided I may as well keep her if I'm gonna be putting work into it. that and the reason i bought it, was to swap it, dress it up a little, so might as well finish what i started.

Finished welding the window regulator back to the stripped inner door panel. The part I don't get is, when I put the window completely back on track, the corner by the mirror is still down just a tiny bit while the back is up in the corner.

Another thing, is when you roll it down, the front tends to go down just a tad bit faster. When you roll it up, the rear goes up faster, and then pops out of the track when it gets near the top. So I had to just put it as close to normal as possibly with my hands and just leave it there. Still cant roll it up/down to get some air while I drive

no, the gods took one look at the civic and figured it wasnt worth the time or effort to f**k that car up anymore than it allready is

Main things...
Driver-side window track bullshit
99/00 Upper radiator support
99/00 Front bumper
99/00 Si foglights, again
99/00 CTR-Style grille
Pull out the dent in the passenger-side door
Change out the windshield
Pull out whats left of the dent in roof
Remove side moldings, weld up the little empty squares where the mounts go
Cut the fenders for EK sidemarkers
Shave the license plate mounts on the front bumper
Cut out the center grille of the bumper to make way for an unobstructed intercooler view 8)
Line up the hood with fenders correctly
Remove pin stripes
Maybe replace the exterior mirrors with smaller ones
Paint (side skirts, mirrors, etc...basically everything except the cf)


then its onto all the other s**t

maybe better coilovers or lowering springs & new struts (megan racing + monroe = sucks)
5% tint (might just do it myself in a day or two )
DIY CTR headlights
ctr rear lip (before repainting the car)
swap + turbo (wish it could be a k, but with whats left over from insurance check, i dunno)
ITR-replica seats (red? or black w/ red stitch? doing this to my teg as well)
CTR guage cluster
Remove everything else from the a/c system

Think that's abuot it

- CF CTR or duckbill (dunno which) wing?
- CTR Rear lip?
- CF mirrors?

hehehe, the list goes on...cant decide what to get lol

will probably be bumper, cf ctr-style grille, ek sidemarkers, si foglights, cf lip (+$ from bank), and rad support so i can finally get front end done and be that much closer to paint

Well I'm pissed. Last night coming home from a friends house my car started wobbling pretty bad going from 45-60.

I pull over, thinking its the left-upper motor mount which is broke already. It's not that. So i start rolling 20ft and the right-front is going up & down like i have a 20" tire on one side and 15" on the other


So i get out, check. Noticed my coilover that i adjusted 2-3 weeks ago finally is settling and the right-front is lower than the left-front. f**k.

So I start going home. Bumpier than s**t, so i slow and just go about 50. I dropped off a friend, and then dropped off the girlfriend and went home.


So this morning after prepping for the hurricane, i come over to girlfriends house. I go to make a turn to her house, and my damn right-front tire blows out!!!!!

Wierd part is in my teg i dont carry the spare tire. But for some reason when I was stripping out the civic, I decided to keep the spare in the back. Thank god i did

Creepy part is that it died where my GSR snapped a rod

im so jealous that you have a project car im in school so i have to be "careful" with my money but i think im gonna get some new seats
