man. I'm getting confused. So much mixed answers. I understand that the tranny and engine for the si and rsx are the same. But how about the suspension? Does anyone know?

Have you test driven each yet...you might find that though they are the same engine...

I don't know if you did a comparison but I did this for ya...

http://www.acura.com/models/model_comparison_frm.asp?module=rsx

basically the same...better torque as I imagined, but as mentioned before...slap down 2 or 3K more and get the types S

Or if you can wait til the end of summer early fall...you'll get a 04 types S for 20K

Or you know another mean engine, but might be out of your range is a 2 door Accord V6 6 speed manual...that might knock the s**t outa ya...240 HP and comes with 17" alloy wheels and leather...my dad was thinking, but honda doesn't have the sport shift like the acura's so he went with the TSX (he's got bad knees)

If it is the only two choice that you gave us , I would say the civic Si, because at least you are going to have a little more option.

Go with the Civic Si. I personally like the Blue Si, the color is real sharp looking. IMHO the only rsx worth getting is the Type S, anything else is a girls car (nothing wrong with having a girlie car, ladies)
