as for functionality - yes the plate relocator does have it. how can i eleborate more then needed? were u a civic owner or not? why cause it enables me to remove the plate with very little effort ie not taking off the bumper for shows, photoshoots etc... aain liek stated in first post. as for the nipples tey are functional as well - it hides the plate holes and are oem honda parts.

..
maybe i am missing somthing...why would you take off the bumper just to take the plate off

i can take my plate off in less than 30 secs with no tools...

Im not hating at all. I just dont understand

I don't think that it's a bad mod, I think it looks better than the stock bezel however I do kinda hate the emblem on it. not that your claiming you have a type r but i always thought it was stupid for honda to put that badge there. if you threw a clock in that spot and the ctr block off plate and relocated your radio to the cupholder it would look a lot better. the cd player looks kind of out or place in it too i think. it is a cool part though and I love the steering wheel.

Even though I like some things on the CTR, I would prefer not to put badging on my car that does not properly represent what it is.

I also agree on the issue of hate. Just because someone doesn't like something you have does not mean they're "hating" or that they "hate on you".

There are other CTR dash options. Ones without the emblem on the dash.

PS - Free EDM clock FTMFW. :D
and those i did not want... amber clock for me does nothing... and just puting in an amber clock does nothing for a ctr interior... as for representing what it is, eh thats up to you. i have never stated my car is a ctr. but it will be a ct interior. and i know of all the options.

not mine... the stock bolts were ceased thus aftermarket bolts/buts had to be used.. so to remove plate i would have to remove nut from behind the bumper. and so with this its a cleaner look, able to take it off with eaze and loock better imo.

the emblem grows on you, block off plate is a waste imo as well, such a waste of space for peopel to do that, as wel as the clock. i have 2 decks the one on the upper portion as u see is my dvd/lcd, the lower deck which already has been moved is my acive deck with jdm cupholder assembly. as for it being out of place, i don't think so. it has been made so it now sits more flush. hell any deck would be different there other then oem. but i am not just puting a useless block off plate there...

I was just mentioning the clock as one of them (plus I'm happy about my clock too). At the time that I was given my clock, I had no other clock int he car. Before that I had a clock, but the sun would hit it and make it impossible to read. The block off plate is there in my car because my car does not need a DVD player (plus I loathe the flip up screens since they look out of place to me). So if I didnt' have the blockoff plate, it'd just be empty. I'm sure other people have good reason to have block off plates and clock, and Honda must have thought of a good one too.

As for the plate nuts (the flat metal parts that goe behind the bumper to hold the plate on), they're about $10 for both I think. In the event you ever want to fix what is broken. =)

I'm not hating on your car, please don't get so defensive. JUst because someone tells you some other options doesn't mean you need to call those options a waste of time because some people don't like what you have. :-/

never said anything... said i did not want it... thus i did not get it. as for the parts behind themumper i still don't want it, these bumper plugs give a much cleaner look then the holes that are left when the plate is removed.

as for others remiving teir radios and puting block up plates i don't get ti. imo looks just out of place as having anythign else there... that to me is a useless mod

i don't take ffence and non given. just wondering why my threads are always like this lol.
ah well, guess its forums... i find that when you do someothign fddifferent people are all over u for it.. sure maybe its not hate but something thts for sure

so in reality, instead of fixing your mounting bracket or replacing it, you just plugged the holes and re-located the license plate. not really functional
personally, i would have just fixed what was broken and not given my car useless nipples and a pontiac grand am style license plate :what:

Those blockoff plates actually came stock in some cars. And of course the clocks too. Probbaly both for cars with no radio at all (and thus no clock). My clock came out of a friend's EK3. I'm not sure what he had in for a radio when he bought it though.

I think your'e threads are like this because you're always going to have taste that's a little off from the norm. So some peopel aren't going to like it, and then sometimes your posts (like mine) come across to other people are being more defensive than they really are. You might see it as just explaining, and they think that you're getting all moody. Been there.

I don't mine the plate and all... I just plain dont' put mine on though. And I got lucky with the bumper plugs for mine too. When I bought the car they were in the center armrest console =)

Is that a CTR shift boot or just black with red stitching. You should use the OEM auto shift knob and CTR shift boot combo. It actually looks pretty damn good. That shift knob takes away from the OEM cleanness that you are starting to get imho, not trying to hate but just giving ideas for improvement. if you could piece together a K dash that might help too.

I don't remember anyone saying anything out of line. A few of us just didn't like it, that's all. For all I know, he hates red cars. Not gonna make me feel bad though. :P

u truly are an idiot arn't you or are just ignorant. the plugs were purchased because i wanted them as well, sure i can take off the plates but then the holes would still be there. do you read or just asume and try to sound like a smart ass. sure my mounting brackets were broken- but not once did i say i wanted it there. for 1 the stock center location takes away from the car, second even if i still used the stock location i would have the holes there. cmon u guys are rediculous... so... one again

it was put in a new location for ease of removal, the plugs were purchased and installed to clean up the look when the holes are there. functional - once again for the 100th time yest it is.. and check the site a whole lot of peopel are doing the same thing. but for course your an ex civic owner that owns a subaru but are so cool you stay still on a civic board...

thanks... mr. rolfl hahah, so funny that i din buy it, yet this is what i wanted...

naw, not way lower lol... but i can't, i scrape my exhaust eevyerwhere as it is, and not a fan of the mudflaps. on a black car sure it blends in on mine it would be werid imo...
as for k20 i have a shop that has done some crazy setups.. we see.. still up in the air.

what is the point of modding if not to mod. no worries i get these parts cheaper then most, hence why i have them. as well as the motor when i need it. working for the importer means cost pricing.... so no worries it will come. i wanted to do these details first.

we have a few here half cuts here . but the center console itself is not much different. other then armrest cancelation. and a few minor things. whole dash is going black soon come off-season
