yea, and surprisingly enough, a lot of those vids are like 2mi from the nearest police station. haha.
on the rex, it's the j's racing lip. beside the swap, i have i/h/e/nocat/zdyne ecu/gutted rear int; no internals. it's all in the driving. hehehe..
did your crx actually keep up with the stang?
You guys race in some pretty stupid spots. Street racing in general is moronic, but if your gonna do it you might as well at least do it on a road that doesnt have cars, light poles, and houses on the sides. The first spot as about 1/16 of mile as well... nice strip.

i agree that there were a few stupid races; other cars around or in a more populated area. but for the most part, the runs were at the spot that looked a little inclined. the runs are usually at 1-2am when there's no one driving around. i'd like to know how you determined that 1/16 of a mile, though...is your vision that good?
it's hard to "take it to the track" as many people say, as there aren't any close to us.
either way, i appreciate your concern for my and others' safety. i'm sorry if any of the videos offended you...if this is the case, go ahead and either stop watching them and/or delete them off your comp.
I was exagerating... but that first track is VERY short.
When we street race, which is almost never, we go to a rarely used stretch of high way that has nothing but smooth ditchs on the side. We measure out a full quarter mile so at least we have a realistic track. None of this 9 seconds and done crap when your in 14 to 16 second vehicles.
Like I said we rarely do this as there are street legal drags at out local track every friday night. 5 bucks gets you as many passes as you can get in.

again, we're not so fortunate. our closest track is over an hour away, 3300+ft above sea level, and $20 for only about 2-3 runs (there's a LOT of people that go there).
and out of most dead-stop runs, i'd say 95% of them went beyond 9s. most of them were 13-14s runs...watch the vids again, please.
since my other thread was closed, i figure i'll voice my concern here. MANY of the videos posted in this section are street racing; why was my post locked? was it because i used street racing in the title? well, this one was never closed (and f**k, it'll probably will be after this post). i'm happy that "clubcivic.com and it's affiliates" don't condone street racing, hell i think it can be stupid as welln depending on the circumstances. but you have to understand that we can't "take it to the track" that easily, as our nearest tracks are over an hour away. at least we take it to an empty area (and usually wait until 2-3am when most everyone is asleep anyway).

i myself race people on the streets occaisonally but your videos might encourage some retard who cant drive to go try it...
there is some very stupid driving on your videos including driving by yourself where you raced another crx and swerved to avoid a car just after take off

and again i say, street racing can be stupid depending on where and when. the consequences can be severe as previously stated...i do agree with all of that. all i'm getting at is that there have been many other street racing posts but mine was the only one to get locked.
