Don't you need shocks too? That's another 300 or more.

Get some lowering springs cause adjustables suck unless there full coilovers.

u can use the stock shocks but i wouldnt recommend it. when u lower ur car they arent made for that then they bottom out and its like u dont have ne. i would go skunk2 coils or ground control coils and koni adj shocks

For what you will pay for koni's mated with gc's or skunks you could get a set of Tokcio full coilovers. They are awesome for the buck shop around you can find deals on them. Tokcio Blues are pretty much like a stock replacement. I'd at least go for some adjustables like illuminas or even some kyb agx's.

you could get a set tein ss for the price of gc's and koni yellows(adj) i would get a set of coilovers... springs are a waste of time. here is my list.

neuspeed coilovers(bilstein shocks... yummy)
tanabe sustec pro s-0c or ss
tein ss
apexi ws coilovers

Right... I'm asking what the difference between the 2 setups would be, since you're saying one is better than the other. Thanks.

Tokico coilovers are the same idea as teins, apexi etc. but not quite as good, but good for the buck. They're fully threaded mounted on a shortened shock body with adjustable dampening it's all one setup which also means they can take more of a drop with out sacraficing ride quality. Gc's are just an adjustable spring there not mounted on a shock thats designed for raising and lowering such as Tokico coilovers , tein ss, apexi etc. with the Gc's you need to buy shocks to mate up with the springs. Koni's are usually the shock of choice cause there a great shock they have great ride adjustability, but even then you still won't get the same as a real coilover and koni's are quite exspensive and is why I said find a set of tokico coilovers. You can use your stock shocks with adjustable springs but they won't last long and the ride will be horrible.

I would check other forums cause I've seen ppl selling them for pretty cheap to otherwise just search around there's quite a few sites around that have them. whats in the pic is what you get.

I had H&R race springs even though there a real aggressive drop I loved them. If I buy springs and shocks again I will for sure go for H&R's.

go with arospeed coilovers their 180 and use your stock struts. i got mine over two years ago and i still ride as smooth as the day i bought my civic. also you can go as low as a 4in drop. the only thing you do have to worry about is your camber because it will be off.
