i wanna get my mudguards painted like the ones on the s2k's
how hard would it be for me to paint them myself, with the exact same paint not a color matched one ?

scuff them up w/ sand paper

spray them with adhesion promoter

get some duplicolor

wet sand and clear coat

where do i get the paint? i went to the dealer and asked but all they sell is the lil tinny touch up tube

theres a few places online that sell paint by the part # i got some i think it was automotivetouchup.com or something, they sell it in the like 12oz aerosol cans or pints and stuff too. sand it smooth since they have are textured and you dont want it to show through the paint. but i would make sure you go to a good place to get the clear coat, ive heard that the normal stuff you buy sometimes has a yellow tint to it and it wont match the car perfectly.

and yes, dont forget the adhesion promoter, it works wonders
