how to
someone requested a how to on painting the steelies so here it is...
things needed:
1. Notecards
2. Duplicolor Gold and Chrome paint
First, clean the wheels and make sure they are dry before painting
NOTE: do not apply paint at heavy coats, if you do, it will run and mess everything up...i suggest doing 3 or 4 light sprays.
Stick notecards around, between the tires and the wheel, and paint the lip, no need to tape it up
Wait for the paint to dry then stick notecards in the lip. stick some more notecards so that they cover up the lip so you don't get gold paint on them
Paint the inside gold and wait for them to dry, then remove notecards...thats it!

whats the big deal.. d00d painted his stealies but no one calls all those other dudes who painted their beater wheels retardeed colors? TypeR stickers.. whats the big f**king deal. If d00d likes it then let him keep it that way, when someone rags on your s**t you guys are quick to jump the gun and talk hella trash so they'd not hate on your car.
not to hate, but it was voted the most unreliable auto of the year. So I wouldn't rank it up there with "Best SUVs ever made" they are nice though.tienr said:

yea, i did hear about that before....i think it had something to do with the nissan plants....but my uncle has about 30,000 on it so far, and hasn't had any problems.that VERBAL said:

i really don't care when people rag on my car, to most people it's "rice" but to me, i think it looks clean....i don't have that big wing on top of my hatch, or the midwing or body kit, and tezza's.....i'm plainly sticking with jdm styling, not sayin it is jdm, but its my way of modding the exterior.
i can't afford to slam on the steelies, my exhaust is straight through piping and hangs under the car, rather than through the space designed for an exhaust, i wouldn't be able to drive over speedbumps....but with the 17's i can slam, and still be able to clear speedbumps.....some people say my car would look funny with 17's cuz its too big, but if you can lower it the right amount, it looks pretty goodcαn said:maybe u should sell those seventeens and slam ur car more on those sweet steelies eh ?

i like it alot. looks real clean
i never found a good reason to buy new mirrors, but if i have spare money lying around, i just might....and i would get a CF wing, but i find the only thing worth buying that is CF is a hood....the thing i really want to do exterior wise is to get a CTR style wing, and paint match the whole car (lips, sideskirts, moldings, and mirror)....i tried to paint match the front lip using duplicolor.....it matches when its in the shade, but in the light, the color is way off, lolEF_CaSe said:
