Nice car! The brakes are ehh, big brakes never really tickled my pickle. Maybe because of that big ass hub in the center. I like OEM big brakes, no hub!

it has that "hub" because its a 2 piece rotor. OEM is a single piece forged. bigger brakes fill out the empty gap inside the wheel so it doesnt look so damn hollow in there. but most people dont upgrade their brakes for aesthetic reasons anyhow. if ever you get brake fade in a critical situation you'll know its time to upgrade. its a scary feeling trying to stop and you cant

... with 16's I can run the 12-inch rotars? and I will never again be able to run my si's? and I would also have to upgrade the calipers right?

if you get a big brake kit it comes with calipers. a few companies make a 12" rotor upgrade kit that uses the stock caliper, and comes with a relocation bracket for the caliper. that's what im leaning towards just because its very cost effective. you definitely need 16"+ wheels for larger brakes
