Gotta go with the IS. Damn sexy car and if anyone remembers correctly it has the beloved straight six that toyota is known for. I've seen a couple turbo'd and they make insane power. Its supposedly the same exact motor that was in the supra and those could run 500hp on the stock bottom end...

Ohh yea, and you can actually have people in the car and its "right wheel drive".....

um no.. the ek9 can be either 96-98 or 99-00. The ek4 is just a code for the VTi model EK hatch (i.e. 96-98 or 99-00 b16a2) Well it is in the UK anyway so the ek4 can be either buddy.

ok to clear up a few misconceptions....

first in japan the CTR came out in 1996...mine is a 96...thats what the title says...now maybe in the states a 96 is an Ek4, i dont know, but the title says EK9, and there is a red top DOHC B16 under the hood.
i dont hate this car...i like it..but i was giving reasons for why i bought it.
and yes its slow...esp compared to the Altezza and my Supra. However for what it is, it is fairly quick, and sounds f**king mean from 6k on. i would even say it almost sounds better than the Altezza at WOT.

The car is bone stock, minus the trendy Volks. No taillights were swapped, no conversions were made...its the exact same car that rolled off the factory from Honda.

I will get some interior shots when i have some time and its not soo cold

and i say japan unfortunately because i have been here for almost 4 years, and its time to come back to the US...home is home!!!

yes i know the hood is crooked...some schmucks tried to pry my hood open while i was in the desert...and yes im from jersey and i rock the jersey plate on the altezza in japan...just the front tho

The main difference between an Altezza and an IS300 is the engine and the tranny..and of course the steering wheel side. Altezza has a BEAMS 3SGE with Dual VVti. Its an AWESOME motor that is actually built and designed by Yamaha. The IS300 has the NA 2JZ found in the NA/JZA80 Supras

Currently im on a Kawasaki 2002 ZX6R Ninja...plans are to upgrade to a R1 or a CBR1000RR

i bought the car third hand...the title says 1996....from the translation from a japanese friend of mine he said the year on the title is the equivalent to 1996....so thats what im going off of...

and why would i lie and make my car OLDER? come on...
