Yeah, you're right. It just seems kind of weird to buy a gauge just to mount it there without it actually working. I would have assumed that it worked which is why I thought you were just mocking him.

wait im confused...... you said you ran the wires... that would imply that you have the electronic series which run about $200+ thats why i asked.. the mechanical one that runs $50ish is supplied by a braided line which would have been an annoying amount of effort (if even possible) to run behind the pillar and you wouldnt run that through the door to the engine bay...

its a pressure gauge, kinda like a boost gauge. It just came with mounting hardware and a nylon tube and some other stuff

Oh I wouldn't know the feeling, I have a p28 and it lets me get to 8 pretty easily. The skunk2 springs/retainers and stage 2 C/S really love it. Very nice from 3-7k rpm too very loud.

Ditch the Si badge, paint the engine bay and door jams to match the car, get that goofy radar detector out of the line of your view (if I were a cop, Id personally pull you over b/c you have s**t in your view), and the fake carbon fiber dash overlay. Other than that, its not bad.
