Paint for what??? The paint on my car is all original. it looks good because the car sat in a garage from 99 to half way through 2003. In those 4 years it moved 3km. The car only have 35 000 clicks on it.

Ok to answer all of the questions. I had them sprayed in gunmetal. I don't mean spray painted from a can, I mean from a paint gun. They turned out excellent. It only cost me 250CDN. The swap should be done by the end of the month. My engine is currently sitting in Seattle. My supplier is waiting for one other guy to make up his mind about his engine so he can get them all shipped out here. Mine is coming on a train car with about 10 other engines. It will also have a turbo on it shortly after that :D. I am definitly going to be putting a lip on it in the near future too. Probably spoon carbon fiber.

Agree exactly what i was going to comment on.
How'd you get them to sit like that? Any problem with fit. Etc etc.

My box just sitting on top of the spare tire area just aint cutting it.

The subs barely fit. There is probably less than an inch between the magnet and the bulges on both sides of the trunk. Luckily these subs were designed for tiny enclosure's, so it worked out great.

The box is quite simple actually. One piece of mdf cut in the shape of the hatch is the top layer of the box. It's wrapped in grey vynel. Then there is another piece wrapped in blue vynel sitting on top of that. It's just sitting in there loose. I can lift it out if I want. The rest of the box is basically a small piece down the middle for support, and one to form the back of the box. The bottom of the car is used as the bottom of the box. It's full of sound insulation to stop the metallic sound from happening.

Unfortunatly people have been messing with my car A LOT latley, so I've decided to take the stereo out. It was almost stolen 2 weeks ago (compustar saved it). I walked out to my car to find my handle sitting on the road. I don't have any reciepts because I bought everything used. So if it gets stolen Im screwed. So I'm gonna pull it out and sell it all before it gets stolen. :(
