haha thanks man. they look all right unitl you get up close in a well lit area, then you can see the steelie rust through the holes in the hubs... I meant to paint the steelies flat black over the summer, just didnt get around to it, and now its too cold. maybe next year.red4 said:looks hot even in winter form. i like the hubcaps sprayed black. might have to do that to mine and then i can throw them back on over the steelies til i buy my rims.
car looks better without that type R style lip i think. mugen style isn't too bad, its what i used to have on my car, but i really yours would look awesome with the 96-98 CTR lip painted white. it would be killer. keep up the good work man.
I havent decided on a lip yet, but I think its probably going to be the Mugen style or the right CTR this time.
and Im not sure about the CF hood, im kinda poor, so I shouldnt be spending any more money on my car, even in the summer when im making money, i should be saving it, but who knows, I may splurge a bit.
i sanded down and painted my steelies earlier this fall and it helped out a lot. throwing some painted black hubs on top of freshly painted steelies would look pretty decent though.mynameisbob28 said:
i would say to go for the correct CTR lip this time around. i liked my "mugen" lip, but it was still a cheap knock-off and didn't fit properly no matter how much i stretched it. plus when i finally pulled it off it had a big crack on the bottom side, evidence that the ABS plastic its made from really isn't that durable. a CF hood would probably look really sharp on your car, but being that your stock hood is in good shape, i'd keep it on there. your car looks killer with everything painted to match.
