Yes I know the welds aren't the greatest...still a rookie at it. More practice of course, and my next one will be better. But for now there are no leaks and it's working just perfect.

great job! i have a few quesions:

are these charge pipes the same?

if so, you did an amazing job finishing that pipe. Do you do metal fabrication for a living?

do you not have any flex pipe in the exhaust?

Yea those are the same pieces. All my pipes and exhaust started out as "U bends". The only part of my exhaust that was an actual straight piece was the middle piece. I didn't use a flex pipe cause the engine is already stiff with my Hasport mounts and I mounted the exhaust onto the car itself; zero movement or vibrations/rattles. Same with my intercooler pipes. No flimsy parts, so no movement what so ever. I had to cut and smooth them into that form, mocked them up, and then did the final welds. Once it was finished being welded, I just grinded the welds down where the eye can see to have that clean and smooth look. I didn't grind any hidden parts or the exhaust pipes.

I don't metal fab for a living. I just learned from reading and my cousin's father is a welder at CAT, so he gave me some pointers. I just borrowed their welder and after many tries on random metal pipes, I did my own pipes and exhaust. It didn't take that long to learn, it's about the right amount of wire feed, voltage, technique, etc. It's not the best of course since it's my very first fab job, but it does what it's meant to do and there are no leaks. So it's good for me since it's my first piping kit and exhaust.

thanks for the compliments guys!

and yes my new "small" T25 is very fun; spools quick and stays strong until redline. Not a monster turbo like everyone's, but plenty of fun and zero turbo lag to drive around with. =)

I would of rather picked up the GT28, but I couldn't of passed on a brand new T25 as a gift. I just had to source out and purchase everything else myself to make my turbo work once it was in my hands; and it all worked out in the end.

Thanks man! I like the exterior and interior the way it sits as of now. Maybe a new paint job in the near future and new wheels of course. Don't wanna just throw too much misc. parts on it. Interior wise...maybe steering wheel, new seats in the future... Everything is pretty much good as of now, i don't need a lot of misc. parts that are just for looks. I rather buy or make a part that will have a purpose or make it look nice, but yet looks like it's meant to be there if it wasn't in the first place. But for sure I'd like to do more suspension work and a new paint job in the near future.
