Most likely a shitty welding job. If you look at it, it started to crack right on the outside of the bead and just continued around. Also, the poor fitment of the crossover pipe could have had something to do with it. The crossover doesn't want to sit on the flange very straight, and it probably put a little extra pressure on the header.

I can't wait to get it running either. I'm still getting the run-around about my chip, but hopefully that will get worked out soon. I also ordered my turbo timer and a mounting panel for it, so hopefully i should be getting everything here soon and the car will be basically done for a while.

I love Mustang's, they're great cars. My mom's GT ran 14.46 @ 98 this recent summer on the stock engine. I've heard word that 2001 GT's aren't supposed to run in the 14's on stock motors, do you know how that's supposed to work, Jesse?

A 99+ 5-speed GT with a good driver can hit low 14's to high 13's depending on track conditions. The 99-00 have basically the exact same motor as the 01+. The 99-00 blocks are windsor blocks (truck motors) and are a little stronger than the 01+ blocks, which are Romeo's. Other than that they are almost identical.

I pulled the bigger vid, but i left the smaller fly-by vid up. You can download it here Fly By Vid . Right Click, Save As

Any reason for hating mustangs??

For some reason i get that a lot. People tell me how much they don't like mustangs, then they proceed to tell me how much they like mine. I don't understand. :what:

Ya, that was me. The cable that runs from my gas pedal to my throttle body came off the pedal, so i had no gas. It was an easy fix, i was back on the road in like 2 minutes. Nice SI by the way, love that color blue  You got anything done to it? From what i remember it looked stock.

The camaro isn't mine, it's my roomates. I've always been interested in all performance cars, and i was curious about civics so i stumbled upon this site. I liked the people and the tech here so i ended up staying.

well personally i don't like most of the people that drive stangs... i have been one of those to bag on em (because of the past years 96-00 or 01) have been utter sh*t stock... but i drove a '02 GT with I/H/E and it was chipped (and it was an auto =) ) and let me tell you i was impressed. The have come back from the depths of hell (in my opinion) and now they are back to where they left of with the 5.0. If i had the money i wouldn't mine having a new GT... they are nice i acually like the new 5.0 thats coming out... Do you know anything about the Mach's that came out? Those were cool lookin and i hard they had a 330 or a 357?
