no its northwest of mooresville charlotte area which is probably an hour from the tip of the virginia border up 77 from mooresville to norfolk is about 7 hours drive assuming you go the speed limit

you are assuming on the wrong site. There is hicory high school near the border. wasnt sure if there was a coincidence
