My DIY JDM Amber Cluster

nope my cluster is a 97 but it doesnt have a tach could that be why? so let me get this right....

this is the 194

yeah, thats why...the clusters that dont have a tach take TWO 24's and TWO 194's. so...thats correct. Where did you say you found your bulbs at...? the 194 that i saw was much less amber...it just had a HINT of it...and that was it.

stock 97 ex cluster well its not the stock one cause mine fried but it came out of mi friend 97 ex

i did this mod back in the summer and i love it. but i took out the 2 bulbs at the top for the needles. so obviously you cant see the needles that well, but you still can a little, if that makes sense. but it looks pretty cool. i like to call em "ghost needles" lmao. i dont think i found the right amber bulb for the climate controls, but i replaced them with just a regular bulb cause they were burned out, but its a b***h tryin to get the bulbs in and out.

hell yeah...did this a while back and it came out great....i love the way it looks at night.

I bought a bunch off of eBay..(100 LED's for like 7-8) and a buddy of mine found out that if you wire 4 of them in series, that it reduces the voltage to 3.7 volts (or whatever is required to run) and you dont need a resistor. so, im gonna try that out, file down the tops a bit and see how well they perform. i have like 80 LED's left from doing my interior in them...real easy to do.
