I'd refrain from jacking up the car like that on only one side. If possible, jack the whole front end up if you're working on the front, and the whole rear up if you're working on the rear. Drop looks good, I'd go a bit lower if you can in the rear. Honestly though, body work would be my main priority right now not suspension.

thanks for the comments guys. i am really proud with how far it is now, especially with me doing every single mod myself.
your not wrong about the bodywork, and it IS at the top of my list of things to get done.

he has a jackstand in place so I dont see an issue there. I wouldnt worry about body work at all as it isnt even that bad. work you way from the ground up and leave cosmetics for last.

I've been told jacking your car like that can cause frame twisting. I don't really believe it either but was told by a friend taking a mechanic course. I guess you can't be too cautious right?

Ok so i havent update on here in a while and i have done a few things.

I have replaced the bashed wing, which i painted myself
got a vti lip which fell off on the motor because some of the clips were f**ked :reasuring myself that it would stay on kick me in the ars.

and i have striped out some of the rear (seats, boot s**t, and ickie sound deading crap)

Atm im working on building up my D16z6 head that im swaping on the bottom end.

heres some pics of where im at now

ENJOY

Thought I would paint the oil cap as well. might look good when the rocker is painted

Next. recieving dizzy and loom. will tidy that up then get fitted. Got to get some spark plugs. Going to get cyclinder gasket set, and paint rocker cover between all that.

hey guys. so i havent updated this is soo soo long. this was due to not having a job for a few months. but s**t is back on track now.

I've now got a d16z6 block that i got cheap from a friend, and its going to be a NA build. not keen on the turbo now as i like the bare look in the engine bay, so its going to be NA with lots of Bisimoto parts :D.

I've Recently completely refurbed some Alessio alloys i got dirt cheap at a salvage yard, and sprayed them the best match I could get to the spoon blue.

heres the photoshop of the wheel in the spoon colour a friend did:

now the wheels on my car. A damn good match! =)

My plans from now:

Just bought some motegei lug nuts (spelling)
Replace Rear trailing arm bushing
respray lca's in the blue
EK skirts
sort out the rust (i have someone that is going to weld in arches on back rears)
X brace a friend is going to construct
all other braces
Wind vissors
Spoon style colour coded spoiler
recaro blue or black seats
replace hard riding 45 tyres with 195 50 15 toyo proxes
Then start buying parts and building the z6 motor.

probably missed parts but thats the basic

ok so I havent been on here in a long time due to my car not going far as being out of work for a few months, but stuff is back on track now.

since the last post:
Type R seats gone, going to get blue if not then black recaros
White wheels gone. Got some Alessio Turbo wheels that i completely refurbed.
replaced the pas door as it was rusted. the head is gone, got a d16z6 block from a friend dirt cheap. going to do a high comp build. not doing turbo as i like the idea of things being more simple and also wire tuck look

heres the photoshop that a friend did in the spoon colour:

now the wheels on my car with the paint i picked in the shop by eye!!. A damn good match! =)

Things to do from now:

got motegei lug nuts im awaiting post on
Get RTA bushings repaced
EK skirts
Get rust sorted (got someone that is going to weld in arches on both rears)
replace hard riding low pro 45 budget tyes with toyo proxes 50 low pro
wind visiors
blue or black recaros
x brace that a friend is going to build and buy all other braces
then ill start buying Bisimoto parts for the d16z6 block that iv got

Shenanigans

I want my CR-Z already!

Seriously, you choose that color for your rims?

Boy does it stand out. IMO, sorry bro, but in a really bad way.

I don't hate the color combo. If it was lower it would look way better.

What size are those wheels and where did your front splash guards go?
