Pics of valve cover?
I don't have it yet! The guy couldn't meet up at all over the weekend. I'm so sick of people being unreliable. Ugh.

I ordered a couple oil passages for the cam caps and all that was recieved at my dealership was a box with a random ass part in it. Now I have to wait another week to torque the cams on. FML.

Should be ordering the clutch and flywheel on Wednesday though.

That's how things go when a nice build is being put together. Everything gets screwed up along the way.

Thank you!!

So I looked further into it, I've decided that 10 lbs is too light for me. So Robbie found me a 12.5 lb flywheel that I think would work better for me. Plus I would want a heavier flywheel for boost anyway if I decide to go that route.

Yeah gotta love how that stuff works. Glad to see u chose a heavier flywheel though. I'm sure you'd get used to it but lighter flywheels are a bit of a pain at first. Especially in a DD

why do yo think it would be too light for you?

im running 8lb daily and i love it, takes some adjustment to get use to it, but im very happy with it. i also think it will be great for boost off the line since rpms will get up quicker = boost up quicker. gear ratio will be more important of a factor, but your running gsr so you should be fine. better than b16

Trans I might be running a B16. I keep going back and forth. Super annoying.

It would be too light for me in the sense of yes it would be a pain in the ass. It would rev very quickly, and I would want a heavier flywheel for boost because it keeps more momentum than a lighter flywheel. It's going to take a bit to build the boost, and I would want a flywheel that can maintain it. Lighter flywheels would be great for all motor because of the quick repsonse in the RPMs.

Granted I'm still researching on what flywheels are good for what set ups. So far I've seen a lot of light flywheels on all motor applications. And I've driven 11-12ish lbs flywheels and I love the feel versus lighter ones. Keep in mind this is a light build, I don't need a whole lot.

you wont want b16 if you have intentions of boosting, id stick to gsr

yeah there the whole momentum deal, but maybe you just gotta shift quicker =) in the end its all preference really. i know people running both, and they both like it

If I were to get a B16 it would be temporary. I wouldn't boost it with the B16. I'd go find a GSR. Because the boost idea may not even happen.
