Washed my car in this 90 DEGREE WEATHER. Holy balls.

When it cools off I'm going to hunt down this stupid mystery oil leak... and check my VTEC solenoid because it's starting to cut out of VTEC after about 6k and idles a little rough. Thoughts? I'm thinking the solenoid or a fuel issue, or maybe an air leak in the throttle body :what:
Note: this started after I put on the 68mm throttle body. And I plan on checking the plugs as well.
Hm. Cutting out mid-VTEC is usually a good indicator of the solenoid. And from what I remember seeing, your solenoid was in s*** shape, wasn't it?

No it wasn't bad. But I did pull it out last night and found some metal shavings in it from the break in of the head. Also one of my plugs had some gunk of it (just build up and break in, not oil) and that might be causing a misfire. I'll replace the plugs and advance the timing a little bit and see what it does.

Did some maintanence work to the coupe.

Replaced the motor mount that exploded.
Replaced my fuel injectors and ran some cleaner through them (in which I cringed, I hate running s**t through my car). I also put my car on the original tune I wanted to use (by Richtuned) and it runs sooooo much better with better gas mileage!! It's now on a slightly modified ITR map versus the stupid Erik's map. Never going back.

I also ordered an ES Tuning muffler for my car. I was trying to sell my Buddy Club but I kept getting bullshit offers and I really like it it's just too loud. So I'm getting it redone. Starting off with the muffler and if I want less rasp I'll get a resonator. I'm nervous because no one has done that yet but I guess I'm going to try it!

What's there to be nervous about. The BC spec 2 is just plain mandrel piping, so it'll be just any other exhaust really.

very straight non-resonated pipes + a straight through muffler design.....not all that quiet of a setup imo, but should seem like a huge difference coming from a full BC2

Yeah I'm really interested to see how it will sound.

Oh and I might have figured out my sputtering problem. I'm suspecting fuel pump. So I'm looking into a Walboro 255

i had a sputtering problem, unplugged my downstream o2 and it goes away. and no matter what o2 i put in it comes back. check your fuel pressure quick

I'm not even running a secondary o2. And yeah I will.
