Thanks for understanding my point of view on calling cars by different names/chassis codes.

Even if you take a USDM 6G hatch and do a full conversion... it's not an EK9. I could see putting Type-R stickers on such a car, but it's still not a Type-R either. The stickers would just be one more thing to make the conversion complete imo though.

Damn! Sounds like my drive... I drove my EJ8 coupe from Dover, DE to Hartford, CT to Spokane, WA to Oly, WA.

And neither color codes or year info really proves it's not an EK9.

So he called it an EK9, no biggie. In fact, I think he might have known it wasn't an EK9. Either way, I'm not trying to prove anyone wrong, I'm just trying to teach.

I've been to Speedline, but never bought anything there. How is it out there, having a hatchie? I know we have a lot more hatches here than I ever saw in DE. I don't remember how the Carolinas are though... If we were to move to DE again, my boyfriend's hatch would be somewhat rare. Here my coupe is more unusual that the hatch.

the scene out here sucks! im in wilmington though. no speedshops or anything! but i have met a couple cool guys with some clean rides but from what ive seen my hatch is pretty rare. all the guys tell me id be crazy to sell it. deffinately miss the sceen back home though much bigger and better. speedline is where i always went. jay hooks me up! and i deffinately knew it wasnt a real EK9 lol just posted it like that but changed it lol.

Yeah, well, we have barely any scene in DE, but I'd rather my car be there. I moved here and not two months later was my car stolen.

It's cool to have more good people into Hondas around... but with those come bad people into Hondas too.

Yeah, luckily we just recently moved too. We're still in the area, but not in town and now we have a garage.

i did that b4 only with a GSR motor and spent just as much into parts and labor and could have had a true B16B. i got alot more power and torque but still had a played out GSR. i wouldnt mind running into another set of CTR cams though for a GOOD deal. anybody got a set?
