Thanks for the inspiration man! money's been tight but I'm gonna be buying the header soon. I'll have plenty of pics of install. If you look at my other posts I'm all the time posting other problems/ situations I run into that I forget to mention here.

Car looks clean as hell man. needs a drop though lol. GLWB
Only thing keeping me from dropping it is my girlfriend's driveway is too steep, and her road is like a one way. So I can't park on the street or get into her driveway if I did that. Wish I could though

Megan 4-2-1. It's pretty cheap and from what I keep reading it's reliable enough.

Well, almost hit a deer going to my girlfriends house. (like an idiot) I swerved and hit the brakes. Brakes locked up. and then my tire came off the rim. I then slid into some bushes. :/ Felt like a complete and total dumbass, but whatever. Here's the damage. Would have been a lot worse if I had hit the deer though.

Edit: Hit post before I meant to. I didn't HIT anything, thankfully. There was no actual impact, it just scrubbed the hell outta some bushes
Got the tire back on the rim, it's holdin pressure, beat the dents out of the rim, got it re-balanced today. Now all that's left is to repaint the bumper.

I hate deer.

Painted the valve cover yesterday. Came out really good. Money's been kinda tight so I thought I'd do something cheap to keep things going with the car.

Cleaned the valve cover

Painted it with Krylon Banner red primer/paint mix.

Couldn't use the oven so I used heat lamps. Seems to have worked well.

5 coats of clear later, before sanding.

Sanding the letters (be very careful with this)

This is the last picture I took but I finished the sanding. My dad was helping me sand the letters and accidentally dragged the sandpaper across the VC but it's all good. Easy touch up.

I also cleaned my engine bay if you can't tell.

Anyways, all is good in life. Got another interview at autozone tomorrow at noon. Hope everything goes well. Got a new Xbox 360 today, been using my girlfriends. Got MW3 at the midnight release monday night. Got Fable 3 and halo reach as well.

Tell me what you think of the valve cover, first one I've done. Thanks
