And i kept it simple, my headlights were f**kED, very oxidized, so i bought new black casing headlights.
i also took the time to change out the stock bulbs and put in Hyper white bulbs

I personally think its looking good.

Any thoughts?

Don't get rid of the grille. Remove the grille, take the chrome off and dye the black fin section.

To do that, remove the bumper and there will be screws holding the grille in. Remove those. The chrome trim is held in with tiny screws too, so remove those. Set the chrome aside. Use a black trim DYE (NOT Back to Black - it's temporary dressing and won't last very long) or black shoe DYE to carefully dye the grille.

You might have luck removing the H, but you might need to glue it back on or get new washers to lock it in place again.

A fresh OE grille will look a lot better on that car than an eBay special grille.

Then again, I think the same thing about the headlights. OE fronts FTW.

be prepared to enjoy leaking headlights
To try to solve this, remove the lights and take clear silicone around the place where the lens bonds to the rear of the assembly.

To answer some questions

1. I could have polished the the old headlights clear, but i never liked the look of them, im more of a fan of clear corners, so i like the look of these headlights better.

And for the grill, If i have the patience, i might dye the grill , or at the very least get rid of the chrome. But in MY OPINION i think a mesh grill would look better.

And ill see if the headlights leak, if they do, ill get sealant and go around the edge.

But i checked them, and it looked like it was sealed pretty good.

No one is forcing you to do anything, so no need to make sure we know it's in your opinion (bold, caps, italics, whatever). We get it.

We're still going to post our opinions though.

I've never seen a new headlight that didn't look sealed well. I've seen plenty that leak though. Plenty leak but look like they shouldn't. A coat of that silicone will make it so you won't have to bother with it later (which involves a bit more work).

I posted a thread a few days ago about an intake for my car, and i was getting bitched at and flamed for my opinion, so I'd rather say it and get it out of the way.

Better safe than sorry
