Whether you say it or not, people will still post their opinions and possibly even flame. You asking them not to flame you definitely won't make them stop. It'd probably get them more joy even.
Btw, there is a quote button in the lower right corner of every post. There's also a button with an arrow on it next to that in case you want to reply to several posts at once.
