Are you sure because that looks like the same engine that is in my car, which is an lx. The engine in the pic looks like a y8 or y7.

Well the little laminated thing from the dealership i got it from said "Honda Civic 1.6 LSi SE Coupe" so im just assuming thats what it is, if anybody knows better i'd love to be informed

Since I just saw this, yes, it is a 1.6 LSi (aka 1.6iLS) and yes, it does have a D16Y7. It's an EJ6 in the UK.

But no, all Civics with D16Y7s are NOT CXes, DXes and LXes.

His car, and many other SOHC Civics were available in Electron Blue Pearl. It was not a color just for the EM1.

I checked the UK EPC. The info the OP gave is entirely correct and it is a Y7.

i think that grill looks kinda wierd. it has WAY to big of a honda emblem. fit it with a nice si grill and ur good to go. the car looks absolutly great.
i wonder how hard it is to drive a stick from the other side of the car. it would feel wierd. is the clutch on the left or right????

The pedals are on the same sides.

And I love the grille. I'm not a big fan of cleared out Si grilles. I like the Honda H and the large H looks better to me.

Oh, and here's what the "Si" grille in the UK looks like. This is a UKDM EM1 file photo from Honda.

Yes, but why would you want to when the stock looks so nice? Anyway, as I was trying to say before, their "Si" does not have the grille you're talking about. The CTR is commonly shipped over there though and it'd probably be easier to get a hold of a CTR grille online anyway.

I prefer the stick on my left, tried both and i shift better with left hand, gives me a tighter grip on the steering wheel when im doing 80m round corners haha. And yeah, everything else is the same, clutch on left, etc etc.

Soundsystem in the car as current is

2x Infinity 4" fron speakers in door

2x Infinity 6x9's in rear speaker panels, and my own Kenwoon 10" woofer


Plans are to add in...

2x Vibe 6x9's in rear

2x Mitsubishi 10" speakers in behind rear seats (so only visible when seats dropped down) and put the tweeters from them either under the front dash or up with the 2 Vibe 6x9's in the back.

And i still need to buy a decent amp (and cable to convert my stereo to fit Honda)

That and i need to make a rear block out of wood to slip in behind the rear seats and against the back wheel arches to hold the Mitsubishi 10" speakers in place. So whoevers in the back gets a nice back massage

And i might even buy a second matching sub to have two in the back, since my sub box (if you look) is such a perfect size it sits flush with the back seat AND the lower back roof of the boot.

Oh, and i was debating replacing the Honda badge in front with a Decepticon one, just to be a loser
