my front speakers are going in and out

Check that none of the wires are touching any metal and shorting out first. check for loose wires to the back of the speakers. Fix the wiring mess by using connector ends shown above so you can insure all connections are good? I assume the amp is just for the sub and not speakers? What is the year and model i will try and get you a wiring diagram so you can see what wires are to what speakers, and while redoing connection you can then connect them to the right sides. If wires are crossed fading to the front on the head unit may actually cause the fade to be to the rear...

If that's the case maybe leave it to a pro but it tell u the wire color and what it connects to
