My lamp blew!

I don't know, I think it changes channels like any other regular T.V. pretty quick if you ask me.
The guy at the store was trying to coax me into buying a plasma today and I almost did 
but I noticed that the plasma t.v. looked kind of grainy and it blurred a little bit with the movement of the soccer players that were on the t.v. 
He was telling me that these lamps only last like a year or so and that plasma's last pretty long. Well, he said they last longer than LCD's or the bulbs on my projection. He also told be that my t.v. was a DLP and I didn't know that either.I can take some vid later to show how fast the channels change if you want?
Yeh that guy was full of it. DLP lamps last 4-5 years at a minimum (if your watching tv 10 hours a day) and most likely it was grainy bc store tv signals are split a million ways so they can put the same picture on all the tvs. Bulbs on DLPs are rated around 10,000 hours of viewing time, plasmas and LCDs are 50-60,000 hours.

ACTUALLY........ I just checked and the channels do change a bit slower.

My lady wasn't going to let me buy the lamp this week but she took care of some of the bills herself and let me buy the lamp because she seen how bummed I was.
