Yeah. I haven't tested the full boost range so far it's just been a full dump at 7lbs, the rest of the time it flutters. I have my lines direct to the intake manifold.Glad to see the build is coming along good man I sure miss my turbo.
Does the bov only work under full boost?
It's probably in the thread somewhere but how do you have your vacuum lines set up?
People have been saying that and I would agree. I did some research like you said and I found in a subie forum to adjust the WG arm shorter.Just listened. Sounds much better.
Do some research on wastegate flutter...
Thanks for giving me the heads up!Thats the info i was hoping u would find! Good searching!
The tial bov's have springs set to a lb rating that works with the vacuum of the car. I changed it to the correct spring. As I mentioned earlier they both have lines that go straight to the intake manifold. No "t"ing any wherenot T'ing off hoses right? just straight to the manifold for the wg and the bov?
I'm not sure how the tial bov's are but is there a hard and soft setting? Can you take it apart and see what kind of springs are loaded? When I used my dad's bov on my car (the type s) because he had a more powerful motor he was able to use both the springs inside the bov, but because i had to really go at it to even hear the bov go off, i took apart the bov, took out one of the springs and it worked perfectly after that. I also gave my bov and wg their own vacuum source so the air was not shared with a vacuum manifold, fpr, etc
Perhaps. I have been debating it for the past two weeks lol. Sometimes I want 16s just to fill out the wells, but most for some reason just look too big. I thought 15s would go well with my quick spooling tiny turbine. I wish people didn't want so damn much for emIt's just you. lol I think they still look alright in that size
I know the sizing thing, but I just can't get over how big bbs rs look in 16's on 6th gens16's on a 6th gen. 15's on a 5th gen. Bbs rs 16" ftw on a red hatch!
16s are the perfect size on a 6th gen IMO
