Just picked this baby up yesterday afternoon. And I am in love. A long time ago, way back in 1999-2000, I was going to buy a hatchback when they were still making them new... but before I could get downpayment money together, Honda haulted hatchback production less than half way through the year... after that news was announced, it became all but impossible to find one in good condition.
I was really out just driving around with a friend of mine when we decided to pull into a Honda dealership and look at some S2000's, just to waste some time... sitting in the back of the Used Car section was this car sitting there.. just waiting for me! They'd just gotten it in on a trade in... ironically the person traded it for an S2000... or so I was told. I told them right then and there "I'll take it!".. we went and did all the paper work, and I drove it home last night (07-07-04)... I'm the happiest guy in the world right now, bar none!
When I picked it up yesterday, it had already been customized as it appears.
Ignore the primer colored black widow knock off bumper... I have a Urethane buddy club front on the way.
